In the Czech Republic we have public trade register, including history. According to search the only entity with name Volkswagen was this, which was branch only (not a full company), headquatered in Prague, dissolved in 2002.

Info at GRID is very sparse, there is only name, headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, external link to https://www.volkswagen.cz/ (website run by Porsche Česká republika s.r.o.) and child relationship to "Škoda (Czechia)" (that is mateched to Škoda Auto (Q29637), which was in history owned by muliple Volkswagen subsidiaries, but never by Volkswagen subsidiary based in the Czech Republic).

I cannot match these two entities. I did similar considerable effort to match Hanon Systems Autopal (Q30258590) and Nutreco (Q36878028) with some existing or past Czech companies, but I am not able to match them. Sometimes it is possible to match GRID items to companies (mainly if the website is linked), but even in such cases, GRID label is often inaccurate.--Jklamo (talk) 21:19, 27 January 2019 (UTC)

@Jklamo: Sorry I didn't check back here for a few days. It sounds like then maybe the GRID label for this item should be changed to "Porsche Česká republika s.r.o."? Perhaps you can contact them yourself about this - go to the linked GRID URL (https://www.grid.ac/institutes/grid.426618.f for this one), click on "Report an Error" and fill in the form, I've done this for hundreds of their records already. Merge. There are no minimal pairs in sitelinks and identifiers. The purported Political-Party-Alliances Quora identifier is a red herring as it contains no topics. Keep A political alliance and a coalition are slightly separate concepts: parties can form an alliance without necessarily being in a coalition. For an example of the different concepts, the 2014-2018 Latvian government (Second Straujuma cabinet (Q18507353)) was a coalition between Unity (Q992046), National Alliance (Q1576026) and Union of Greens and Farmers (Q167928); the latter of which is an alliance between Latvian Farmers' Union (Q1474484) and Latvian Green Party (Q1135496) --Oravrattas (talk) 17:04, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

It is a surname, all "Disambiguation Pages" are in reality Family name explanation (plus list of People with that name) --109.202.107.20 22:48, 30 January 2019 (UTC) might be the wrong place to adress a general issue but as good as wikidata is, and as usefull as it is, some cornor cases got mixed up in the automaic conversion of interlingual links. This example "Kirschner" Q21448153 only has family name lists, but all of the existing articels got assosiated with Q1743613. Someone fixed it for the "en" article, therefor all other articles are missing the link to the english version. Q1743613 can only exist in theory "some day far far away in a wikipedia unkown there might be a list that is not about the surname". All linked artikels have to be transfered from Q1743613 to Q21448153

Can this be ajusted for all the other surname entryies with the same issue?

Disambiguation pages are not as same as pages about surnames. No matter what contain in these pages, even if contents are very similar they formatted differently. Delete it or merge, they will be split again by another users. --Wolverène (talk) 18:54, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

@Wolverène: Different Wikipedias have different tagging conventions for "disambiguation" vs "set index" vs "name index", and almost independent formatting conventions. We're doing our readers a disservice if we separate the sitelinks by what they're tagged as, rather than their content. Deryck Chan (talk) 14:09, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

There are thousands of items separated/"duplicated" in similar way, so as I said, I'm repeating this again, even after merging it will be split again by an another user. It must have been discussed somewhere already, I don't know where, all I know is that result was encouraging separation of surname disambiguations like it's done here, even if it take us to disservice.
