Hello, I'm Andreasmperu. Welcome to Wikidata! I noticed that you recently removed a link from an item, but didn't add it anywhere else. If you feel that the link would be better suited to another item, please add it there. (If you don't know how to do that, feel free to contact me at my talk page and I can do it for you.) If you're curious about editing Wikidata, and would like to test things out, please try the Wikidata Sandbox. Thanks, and happy editing! --Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 03:06, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

Fødselsår og datoEdit

Hei.

Kimsaka (talk) 11:47, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
He he, sent svar? Anne-Sophie Ofrim (talk) 12:33, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Reducing precision of dates of birth or deathEdit

Explain why you are going about reducing the precision of dates of birth or death from day, month and year to just the year, as in this edit. Jc3s5h (talk) 15:24, 30 January 2020 (UTC)

Because he was buried April 4, 1633 (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Pieter-Lastman), and must have died on or before that date. Maybe in may, maybe in april... Surely in 1633. Kimsaka (talk) 17:05, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
PS: In some cases I suspect the WD-bot's have imported exact dates or exact years from some WP or some source without been able to understand the context correctly... So if the text in the source explains uncertainty this info gets lost om the way into WD.Kimsaka (talk) 17:23, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for explaining. Such reasoning could be mentioned in the edit summary, or in the talk page of the item. I have further edited the item to add the burial date and add the burial date as a determination method for the death date. Jc3s5h (talk) 16:23, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

Incorrect edit to El CidEdit

I have reverted this grossly incorrect edit. Jc3s5h (talk) 16:26, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

@Jc3s5h: it was surely a typo, meant to be 1043, not 1943. Regards, Kjetil_r (talk) 20:37, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
Thank you - to both of you! Kimsaka (talk) 21:36, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
