Motivation
editPinakes (Q63953164) is a reliable database in the field of Greek manuscripts up to the Middle Age. it is a project created by one organization of the National Center for Scientific Research, France (Q280413), so its institutional framework is solid. The database is structured in four core domains (auteur author (Q482980), ouvre work of art (Q838948)), cote manuscript (Q87167), copiste-possesseur-autre amanuensis (Q499134)-proprietor (Q16869121)) but I suggest to evaluate one and than analyze the other three later if this is approved.
I'd like to make it available for a workshop I am helping to prepare in June, an activity in a school. We could start to insert it manually as an exercise, in order to assess its use. Specifically, the information in the pages of the database can also be used to source some assertions (e.g. aliases, dates, attributions). --Alexmar983 (talk) 20:05, 19 May 2019 (UTC)

- Wanted to create it, but it seems the page is down. Do you know anything about that @Alexmar983: --Kristbaum (talk) 11:16, 8 June 2019 (UTC)

- sorry I wanted to help but I was "teaching", I can look into it at the end of the day if it is not working. However, all the times I looked into that I had no problem at all. Plus, it's good if it was a temporary problem from their side that it was solved during a weekend.--Alexmar983 (talk) 13:47, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
