Discussion edit
- Oppose this ID is just the ISBN, which we already support. - PKM (talk) 00:56, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose Per PKM. Furthermore, this can also be expressed as a DOI with the Taylor & Francis prefix, eg https://doi.org/10.4324/9781315815114 --Vladimir Alexiev (talk) 13:49, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose as above. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:08, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Comment @PKM, Vladimir Alexiev, Pigsonthewing: Thank you for your feedback and I would like to make the valuable observation that the publisher Taylor & Francis (Q880582) uses the ISBN-13 (P212) number to identify its books, but it should also be noted that the property Amazon Standard Identification Number (P5749) of the large publishing house Amazon Books (Q22906322) uses the ISBN-10 (P957) number as an identifier for the books it offers on the market. --Soufiyouns (talk) 08:58, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Soufiyouns yes, however the ID is also part of DOI so I have added a URL match pattern for this to P356 making the need for dedicated ID redundant Back ache (talk) 11:45, 5 May 2024 (UTC)
