Delegate? edit

Witney (Q874194) uses this property to specify its delegate elected by the constituency. I would think this is a little beyond the scope, but a good use. I don't see any other property that would be better suited. --Aeroid (talk) 17:05, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • A model agency (sample above) and an electoral district aren't really the same. Good thing we already have a qualifier for electoral districts. Please use that.

Proposed use for ongoing legal representation edit

  • Is is possible to extend this property to include ongoing legal representation of a client or organization? The property "Defender" (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P1593) is generally limited to individual lawyers involved in particular legal proceedings. However, it is common for people or organizations to retain individual lawyers or legal firms on an ongoing basis outside of legal proceedings. "Represented by" might be a suitable property for these kinds of ongoing long-term associations. Ottawajin (talk) 06:55, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
