Motivation edit

The train melody is music that informs you that a train will depart at a train station. Mainly in Japan, it is a culture that represents the characteristics of railway stations. There are various songs at each station. I propose the "Train Melody" property so that you can get the song title data from the train station. Ecute (talk) 08:15, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support Nice! It is good that this proposal is general. Train melodies (station jingles) are also used outside Japan, for example, in Hungary, the Czech Republic or Slovakia. --Jklamo (talk) 09:02, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support Sure, seems reasonable. Mackensen (talk) 19:56, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment This seems like a good piece of data we should document, but I think we're missing a more general property that might cover this also? We do have theme music (P942) and anthem (P85), but I agree they aren't suitable for this particular application. Is there something in between though that we need (also or instead)?
