It has already been discussed at Wikidata:Requests for deletions/Archive/2020/01/21. My understanding is that disambiguation items are only useful as a collection of interwikis. Some wikipedias make a distinction between general disambiguation pages and human-name disambiguation pages. @Zolo: Basically you are saying that if FrWiki has an disambiguation page for John Smith and EnWiki has a human-name disambiguation page for John Smith there should be by default no interwiki pinks between the two. To me that seems like an undesireable outcome thus I lean towards

@ChristianKl: sometimes one language has two pages that disambiguate the same name, like Winfield Scott (Q11777004)for people and list of ships named Winfield Scott (Q8025017) for ships. I think there were more massive examples in some languages but can't find them. Or perhaps things have changed, or perhaps I just misremember it.
