@‎Hazard-SJ, Daniel Baránek, Emu: While the family name (P734) that were set were a lot of the times humans, I cannot recall I had issues with the created family name items. Those were used by other users as well and e.g. Wanda Dugowski (Q104449800) or Johanna Horwitz (Q106196262) as of now use those deleted items. Dont worry, as long as you can defend your work with WD:N you should be fine - the requirement is "instance of a clearly identifiable conceptual or material entity. The entity must be notable, in the sense that it can be described using serious and publicly available references." so you need to have some independent source (that is not you) that an item exists.
