- @Tol: thanks for that, although I am not sure it is correct to include it as part of the International Legion; my impression was that they are separate. At any rate, I have not heard them described as such anywhere. I expect they, like the Georgian Legion and at least one of the Belarusian formations, is not a formal part of the International Legion. Would 10000 new identifiers for science fiction conventions be considered notable
This is a premptive question. I want to formalise the science fiction convention information stored in https://fancyclopedia.org. Wikidata already has identifiers for some of the major series, but so far only the biggest, Worldcon, has entries for its 5000 people, 5 day individual events. Its been suggested that I could create identifiers for every convention in a series, recording date, location, guests and a link to Fancyclopedia. This would be about 10000 items, 1000 of which would have Internet Archive links to scans of the publications they produced. But I don't want to embark on this if there is a chance that someone will consider that a 1 day student convention with 100 attendees in 1984 isn't notable, and start knocking holes in my dataset.
