نیاز به ربات

امیرجان سلام در بعضی از آیتم ها اگرچه میان ویکی دارند ولی هنوز نامی برای آیتم فارسی تعریف نشده است مثل آیتم 215 که مربوط به "اسلوونی" است.

اگر رباتی داشته باشی که بتواند همان نام میان ویکی را برای آیتم وارد کند مشکل حل می شود.

راهنمای ۳ (حذف آیتم اشتباه یا تکراری)

در ویکی‌داده امکان ادغام تاریخچه وجود ندارد در نتیجه برای ادغام دو آیتم که تکراری هستند مثلا آیتم A و B باید طبق مراحل زیر عمل کنید:

1. پیوندهای درون آیتم A را بردارید و در آیتم B کپی کنید.
2. وقتی آیتم A خالی شد به کمک ابزار حذف (از ترجیحات/ابزارها فعالش کنید) که در منوی سمت راست نوار جستجو قرار دارد درخواست حذف دهید.
3. در درخواست حذف باید نام آیتم B (مثلا Q123) را هم ذکر کنید تا مدیران بدانند محتویات خالی شدهٔ آیتم A کجا هستند.

مدیران در صفحهٔ Wikidata:Requests for deletions درخواست شما را بررسی می‌کنند و در صورت خالی بودن آیتم مورد درخواست آن را حذف خواهند کرد.

Dates import

Please note, that Russian Empire (and likely some other countries) lived on Julian calendar until 1917. So bot should add dates on Julian calendar for relevant articles. Sure, after all dates are same, but Julian calendar will flag that date should be represented in special way (with both Julian and Gregorian calendars). I don't object the calendar type, but on this RFBOT several concerns were raised about reliability and verifiability of data, so you should not run this task until we have the URL datatype and thus can properly source such statements. Otherwise, many language versions of WP would avoid using these poor-sourced data, 'cause it's "imported from Wikipedia". --Ricordisamoa 12:33, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

I only saw opposition of Pichpich. I didn't know that other are opposing too. I think it's simple. we can have the data right now and adding it by adding WP as source but when IRI become ready, we make a bot to harvest sources from WPs and adding to WD. Multiple values for a declaration

Hi, Thank you for your answer. In your example, your bot adds the two values one after the another. I'm also able to do that. This is because the script loads the content of the datapage and then don't refresh it after the addition of the first declaration value. But if the page is loaded and a declaration X already exists, like with my example, the value is overwrited. This is the intended behavior regarding the lines 1423-1463 of wikipedia.py (pywikibot-compat). Maybe a correction in this file will be required. Louperivois (talk) 15:04, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

I checked the code and apparently in line 4339 "'action': 'wbsetclaimvalue'," has to be changed to "'action': 'wbcreateclaim'," but I can't check it's working for your case (and other similar cases or not) so please check it and tell me it's working or not. if claim exists, wbcreateclaim. Else... wbcreateclaim ! Then how to actually edit a claim (as the function name supposes it does) ?? I think the solution is to add a parameter 'owerwrite/create' or to add a function 'createclaim'. The tests operated in the functions have to be done by bots, permitting more flexibility.

Hi, sorry for the long wait. Here is examples of tasks the bot should be able to do :

• In Q221478, add performer (P175) = Q924232 and keep the existing value.
• In Q3596925, add genre (P136) = Q188539 with source imported from Wikimedia project (P143) = Q328 (keep the existing value)
• In Q8582532, replace Commons category (P373) = "Landscape painters" (should be able to replace or remove the source too)
• In Q1814381, delete Commons category (P373) = "Audi" but keep the other one
• Edit only the choosen value of a given property (I didn't find any example).

I am an admin at some minority languages wikis and worked some year ago at BiDirectional issues. I might be still be an admin at ur: etc.
Is it possible that you scan special:Contributions/לערי ריינהארט (today ~ 6,000 edits) and make similar changes where ever necessary. I would like to see which of these pages do not have a "instance of" Property statements and list them accordingly. I am working on AC (authority control) issues. instance of organization need to be handled diffently then human for VIAF records. geographical can be done later.

Dear Ladsgroup, I write you here about a special bot issue in order to fix values for Bibliothèque nationale de France ID (P268) . At Wikidata:Database reports/Constraint violations/P268 you may find the section "Format" violations. 2139 out of 17508 have a problem. These links are all broken,

a) As you can see at Property talk:P268 the lenght should be 9 characters (8 digits and a checksum character). It is easy to see that some users have added values starting with cb which is parted of the url to the BNF catalog.

I could remove the cb manually but you may include this in a bot run performing also the following fix:

b) from user_talk:Magnus Manske#temporary normalisation for BnF identifier

The BnF checksum is a problem I ran into before when writing an VIAF data importer for Wikisource. I worked it out eventually after reading the ARK and NOID specs, and I detailed the checksum generation at Wikisource along with a JS snippet that can convert an 8-digit string (such as from VIAF) into a cb-prefixed, checksum-suffixed form. Thanks Amir for your help. I watched Database reports/Constraint violations/P268#"Format" violations. Today ("14 November 2013 9:09 UTC — Items processed: 17559") the number shows "Violations count: 713". It might be that:

1. the displayed timestamp is not updated properly
2. the regex expression is wrong
3. the bot run was interrupted
4. the validation does not start properly

Dear Ladsgroup, some days ago I have found a UTF-8 General Punctuation character as stated at Talk:Q1162700.
Some years ago MediaWiki developer Niklas Lakström user:Nikerabbit and I started to solve BiDirectional issues in Mediawiki. At that time this was new to me also and we used ‎ and ‏ characters to prevent "messy" display in Recentchanges, Whatchlist, Logs etc. The disadvantage of what we did is that "copy and paste" was a source of errors because most browsers do not indicate the presence of BiDirectional Punctuation characters. It could happen and it did happen that the characters where copied into the WMF content pages.

Can you query Wikidata (Main) namespace for the presence of these characters. I have no clue how many pages / fields would contain these characters? To my understanding they would be a source of error anyway. There is neither a hurry on this. Let me know if you find "positives" and where you post a list / the lists. درخواست

با سلام واحترام با تشکر از نظری که در صفحه درخواست پرچم ربات داده اید، درخواست دارم به نکات ذیل دقت فرمایید.

1. اعتراف می‌کنم که آشنایی من با پایثون به اندازه شما یا رضا نیست ولی در مدت گذشته سعی کردم با مطالعه سایت‌های گوناگون، اطلاعات مختصری بدست بیاورم. نتیجه این مطالعات نوشتن برخی کدهای ساده بود که از آن جمله می توان به کدی که مقالات ناموجود یک رده خاص را استخراج می‌کند اشاره نمود. صد البته پایه این کد متعلق به رضا است.
2. کد اینترویکی که در آن زمان استفاده کردم، دارای باگ‌های متعددی بود که تعداد زیادی از آن باگ‌ها پس از اجرای ربات توسط من نمایان شدند. تا همین دیروز نیز رضا تغییراتی در کد داد.
3. کد وپ:دار که آن را از ویکی فارسی گرفتیم به کرات در ویکی فارسی رانده شده وتقریبا می توان گفت هیچ باگی ندارد
4. درخواست من تنها برای راندن کد وپ:دار است که می توان گفت حداکثر 10 ویرایش در روز هم ندارد وپس از مدتی تعداد این ویرایش‌ها به 10 ویرایش در هفته هم نخواهد رسید
5. در بحبوحه رانده شدن آن کد، مشغولیت‌های فراوانی در زندگی شخصی من وجود داشت که خوشبختانه آن مشغولیت‌ها اینک وجود ندارد.
