Links aren't working

Can someone fix the formatter URL for this property? The links aren't working: the + symbol in the IDs are causing an error. For example, zinnia+acerosa is being converted to zinnia%2Bacerosa and that breaks the link. https://aznps.com/the-plant-list/?species=zinnia+acerosa works fine but https://aznps.com/the-plant-list/?species=zinnia%2Bacerosa doesn't work.
