Good idea to standardize the main page

A great job! I hope it will endure. Can you increase the size of the "Wikidata" title from 220% to 320%? So, IMHO the Main page design will be better than now. The project Wikivoyage is not included among others. Do you think I can put it? Raoli (talk)

Portail communautaire

Bonjour,

Après avoir consulté la communauté sur le Bistro, j'ai rétabli la page Wikidata:Portail communautaire dans son état antérieur. Il s'agit d'une page communautaire destinée aux contributeurs francophones, qui doivent donc pouvoir la modifier comme bon leur semble. Peux-tu s'il te plaît corriger le lien "Communauté" dans la colonne de gauche, afin qu'il pointe sur la vraie page communautaire, et non sur une traduction qui relève d'une logique erronée ?

Bonjour Ljubinka, comme vous le savez sûrement, Wikidata comme les autres projets Wikimédia, prennent des décisions par consensus. La communauté (internationale) Wikidata a décidé d'utiliser l'Extension:Translate sur toutes les pages sauf la page d'accueil. Ma position est délicate car un administrateur ne prend pas de décisions sans l'accord de la communauté.

Par contre, si quelque chose est bon pour le portail des francophones, c'est aussi bon pour les autres ; pourquoi ne pas (aussi) le rendre disponible dans les autres langues ? Je propose que la communauté francophone ajoute ce que bon lui semble, et faire une proposition à la communauté pour l'inclure dans l'outil de traduction. Qu'en dites-vous ? Affichage "déformé" des boîtes utilisateurs

Bonjour,

J'ai conscience de me mêler de ce qui ne me regarde pas, mais j'ai remarqué que le modèle {{Special:LanguageStats}} que vous avez inséré dans votre page utilisateur en perturbe l'affichage : d'une part, en haut à gauche, il fait afficher « Special:LanguageStats » à la place de « User:Benoit Rochon » ; d'autre part le rendu de la boîte Babel n'est plus le même. Ce phénomène n'est pas permanent, il se produit lorsque le modèle ne restitue plus de tableau et qu'il indique qu'aucune statistique n'est disponible (je suppose que c'est à l'occasion de mises à jour).

(Si c'est un effet que vous recherchez, oubliez ce message bien entendu).

Please read Wikidata:Flood flag. In particular, that flag is only for use when you are making a large number of deletions, or making a very high number of noncontroversial, repetitive actions. It must be removed when you have completed the work. Instead, you have left it on for up to two weeks and have made further edits along the way, ignoring my request for you to remove it above.

Un port en Méditerranée

Bonjour M. Rochon,

Travaillant sur un projet de fiche pour un Crétois sur la wikipedia francophone, j'ai jugé opportun de rapprocher l'interlangue des fiches suivantes : Καλοί Λιμένες Ηρακλείου de la wiki grecque et Kaloi Limenes de la wiki anglophone (qui est déjà en lien avec la page indonésienne).

Il semble qu'il y ait un conflit et qu'il faille supprimer un des fichiers interlangue, mais comme je n'y comprends rien (du genre, "c'était plus simple avant...") je me permet de vous solliciter, en tant qu'administrateur, pour que vous régliez le problème.

Marx Brothers

On Q64450, I removed the sex or gender male property that you set. Though all members of the Marx Brothers are male—as the name implies—the intention of the P21 property is to set it for individuals, not for groups. The problem with setting gender for groups is that it isn't a necessary property in that you could have a group that is all-male or all-female, but that could change. The implication of gender properties gives certain rights or roles in society: being male implies that you can marry a female (or another male in countries which have legalised same-sex marriage). But the Marx Brothers aren't going to marry anyone, because they aren't a person, they're a comedy troupe. As already noted above, Wikidata:Requests for comment/Defining inactivity defines activity under #2. "In order to be defined as active, an admin, bureaucrat or oversighter will have to perform ten or more admin/crat actions, all within a six month period." You do not fulfil these criteria anymore, though I agree this removal is a bit unfortunate as you had indeed performed some recent actions, but less than 10.
