Motivation edit
From the site: "The Artist+ Registry is the largest database of works by artists with HIV/AIDS. It offers a unique resource to inspire and educate the public. Visual AIDS assists artists with HIV/AIDS, while preserving a visual record of their work and helping them reach new audiences. The Artist+ Registry is open to all HIV+ artists." Adding and enhancing Q items for these artists (many of whom are LGBTQIA+ and artists of color) enhances the diversity of Wikidata's coverage of artists, and the registry also contains images of artworks by these artists, which serves as a valuable external resource when images cannot be made available on Wikimedia Commons as they are not public domain. . Please fix your proposal and your property will be created shortly. This is an automated message but do not hesitate to ping me if you need any help. − Pintoch (talk) 09:55, 14 February 2020 (UTC)- @Pintoch: I've used regex101.com to test the regular expression and thought it should work. Can you tell what is the issue? It should allow a-z, 0-9, plus hyphens. Thank you! Infopetal (talk) 14:29, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Infopetal: your regular expression matches a single character, whereas your values contain multiple characters. You need to add a modifier such as

or*
