There have been some changes in the items recently. @Srittau, MB-one, GodeNehler, GPSLeo: can you please have a look, particularly at the item histories [1][2][3]? I have no idea how we usually model railway stations. —MisterSynergy (talk) 07:52, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- The content of Berlin Jungfernheide station (Q22284875) should definitely not get removed until the deletion request is decided. But we have to decide if a station with a part for the S-Bahn (Q95723) and a part for the regular railway should have two separate items or not. --GPSLeo (talk) 08:09, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- I would propose to stay only with item Bahnhof Jungfernheide (Q567079) and to remove item Berlin Jungfernheide station (Q22284875) as the Berlin S-Bahn (Q99654) of Berlin has only combined items with S-Bahn and Train. There are only separate item for Berlin U-Bahn (Q68646), see also item Berlin Alexanderplatz station (Q698497), Berlin-Friedrichstraße railway station (Q702402) or Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Q1097). --GodeNehler (talk) 08:51, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
- I don't know if this is the case here, but S-Bahn stations are quite often treated as separate stations from the main line stations, they share the name with, if they don't share any track infrastructure (which is the case here). So, I guess, we should keep separate items for all three stations (main line (Q3238851), S-Bahn (Q95723) and rapid transit (Q5503)). --MB-one (talk) 09:41, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

- The items seems to be confused at the moment. In reality the station has 2 S-Bahn tracks, 2 U-Bahn tracks, 2 regular train tracks and at least 2 metro bus stops(I'm not sure from memory whether it's 2 or 4 metro stops). The S-Bahn part and the train part is owned DB Netz (Q896765) but neither buses nor U-Bahn is. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 13:25, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- To add my (late) comment to this: There are two Jungfernheide stations that not really related physically: the subway station (Jungfernheide metro station (Q19951075)) and the S-Bahn and railway station (Berlin Jungfernheide station (Q22284875)). They have completely separate histories, are separated physically, are run by separate entities, and different laws apply to them (the former is legally a tram station, the latter a railway station). Therefore they should stay separated. On the other hand, it makes sense to have an item like Bahnhof Jungfernheide (Q567079) that combines both items (and possibly the bus stop etc. as well) as a "stop", since from a schedule standpoint, they are treated as one stop. I will remove all duplicated items from Bahnhof Jungfernheide (Q567079) to the other items, though. Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 09:44, 22 November 2019 (UTC)

- Delete As I understand it the item contains sensitive information that was unfortunately put in. Either the history should be hidden or the item should be entirely deleted. I think the delete option would be best. It is better to be on the safe side concerning sensitive information. Hiding the history may also draw unfortunate Streissand effect attention to the item in question. The item can be created as a new item (with less information) or not based on whether this is appropriate. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 08:52, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

- I thought I had made it pretty clear. There two entirely different fabrics called "broadcloth" in the USA. One is a (usually) cotton shirting fabric and the other is the traditional (usually) wool fabric that dates back to the middle ages. The Fairchild's Dictionary of Textiles (Q28888841) has two definitions of "broadcloth". Textile Terms and Definitions (Q52580215) makes the same distinction; the Inter-Active Terminology for Europe (Q1520860) cites this as a definition for "broad-cloth": "Definition: 1) a light-weight fabric of poplin type, used extensively on the North American continent for shirtings. 2) a cloth made from fine woollen yarns in a twill weave, heavily milled(traditionally approximately 90 in.in the loom for 56 in.finished)and given a dress face finish. It is usually dyed in dark colours." I've added the UK name "shirting poplin" (from Fairchild) and I will add the additional source and "name"/"valid in place" statements. - PKM (talk) 18:32, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- I have added the IATE terms for "cotton broadcloth" and "wool broadcloth" as other language labels for these two items, and I've changed the default EN label to "cotton broadcloth" to make the distinction clear. [Edited] - PKM (talk) 19:01, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

- Esteban16: You are right, at the beginning it is two scans on BHL of the same book (in fact two different "physical" objets - one of them with a complement to the author's name) so, OK, we refer here to these two scans but is it really important to have this double entry. There was many errors on these Wikidata pages and, of course, it is more difficult to complete perfectly two articles instead of one. But why not. Thank you very much for your comment and sorry for the inconvenience. Have a nice day :-) Givet (talk) 05:19, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

- For starters, he is known for "founding an influencer marketing agency", which means we need to suspect that everything about him is fake or a paid advertisement, including things that look like legitimate articles and interviews. But also, the references posted are about other people with him as a passing mention. And, lastly, I found this item while looking at edits by a GB-SPV. So, again, it is suspect. If WD wants to keep it, that's fine. But I couldn't let it go unchecked. I don't find much else available via the web. Almost as if everything posted to WD is everything that exists.
- Here's a breakdown of my google search results - the top result is a wedding announcement for a different Michael Gruen (a 20 year old self made billionaire gets overshadowed by the son of a dentist getting married). Everipedia. Twitter. Instagram. More stuff about different people of the same name. And 2 results for linkedin (not his) close out the first page. The 2nd page of results has the forbes article, but that is the only one about him. Looking at his Twitter page, he joined in 2016 and has 1377 followers. Q2072351 has a swedish and a german article about the "Freedom of Movement" of natural persons. So they belong to Q1344824 which is somehow blocked by at least the german "Niederlassungsfreiheit" which is wrong in place as it is about movement of persons and organisations. --5glogger (talk) 08:26, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Not sure why this got repurposed/redirect. Item for actor is at Q61088477 --- Jura 11:26, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
- It was originally about the actor.[4] Peter James (talk) 00:24, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- Cases like this is why I advocate for "disambiguation" items. It acknowledges that the item exists in case other databases have already linked to it, but also acknowledges our own errors which would then serve to correct the data on here and on the places that have linked to it.
