there are conflicts between a suspended sentence and probation Q13961 (I can't really understand how the latter can be translated into Russian). Also, some kind of liberations has some interconnections. Infovarius (talk) 12:26, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Looking good now. Littledogboy (talk) 19:04, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Step by step. I think:
  • Q3237993 – is the odd one out in French, the ru and UK don't belong here, fr is simply about the act of leaving prison, liberation.
  • Q13963 – the odd one out in English, the German page needs a new home.
  • Q13961/Q5357120/Q4737759 – remain problematic...

sternum (Q8481)/human sternum (Q8494) edit

Items involved: Q8481Talk, Q8494Talk Status:     in doubt

sternum and Human sternum are same. The sternum should be used as a general term. Human Sternum for Human bone. Merge them?? --Nizil Shah (talk) 23:01, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Akkakk/iw/include#Q8481 --Akkakk (talk) 17:14, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. Based on titles, interwikis are correct. Based on content, most articles in the general sternum article seem to deal only with the human sternum, but as titles may be more stable than content, I think it makes sense to keep things this way. --Zolo (talk) 16:11, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The pages look all like to handle the human sternum, but the title says it is about the sternum generally. For now, I could only find the polish wp that made a clear difference between the two articles. en. wp has only one article, the other one is a redirect. What to do with the other pages? Q.Zanden questions? 12:06, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. Just an FYI, in jawiki article corresponding to sternum, has a section for the human sternum. --Omotecho (talk) 13:04, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

barge (Q16518)/hopper barge (Q16523) edit

Items involved: Q16518Talk, Q16523Talk Status:     in doubt

Note that the French barge is in 16523 while the English barge is in 16158. --Zolo

I relied on images in articles and Google Translate (reading the article, not just the title). However, there appear to be problems:

  • Most entries refer to ships that "usually" have no engine. As this implies that it sometimes has, I classified them in Q16518. An additional reason for that is that those articles usually have photos of self-propelled barges.
  • definitions may be imprecise or may vary across languages or countries. For instance:

--Zolo (talk) 10:50, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Self-propelled barge in Russian is ru:Самоходная баржа, and ru:Пениш stands for self-propelled barges common mostly in Belgium, Netherlands and France, and having specific dimensions corresponding to Freycinet class, which, in turn, correspond to channel and lock dimensions. ru:Баржа and uk:Баржа stand for flat-bottomed cargo ship (small boats are excluded) regardless of propulsion type. In Ukrainian, uk:Самохідна баржа would stand for self-propelled one, and uk:Пеніш would stand for self-propelled Freycinet-class one (both not available yet).

So, possible concepts seem to be:

  • flat-bottomed boat regardless of propulsion type
  • self-propelled flat-bottomed boat
  • self-propelled flat-bottomed boat of Freycinet class
  • non-self-propelled flat-bottomed boat

Tibet (Q17252)/Tibet Autonomous Region (Q17269) edit

Items involved: Q17252Talk, Q17269Talk Status:     not resolved

Tibet vs Tibet Autonomous Region: There is a conflict when import Q17269 interwiki from en.--Stevenliuyi (talk) 18:41, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • The problem is on w:es:Tíbet and w:fi:Tiibet. There is a link to es: Tíbet on cs. Wikipedia and there is a link to fi: Tibet on la.Wikipedia.--Snaevar (talk) 01:07, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I put fi: Tiibet in Q17252 Tibet and added fi: Tiibetin autonomies alue, which was in no item, into Q17269 Tibet Autonomous Region, checked to see that the es, cs, and la pages were where they were supposed to be, and checked to see that all interwiki links on the en page were in the item (and added the only one that wasn't). So that issue is taken care of. However, looking through the articles listed in each item, there are many articles in Q17252 Tibet that state, roughly, "Tibet is an autonomous region" and try to encompass both the geographical and the political region or are not sure which they should document. Should any "is an autonomous region" article simply be put in the Tibet Autonomous Region item or what should be done? Enoirditalk 11:04, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
User:Akkakk/iw/include#Q17252 --Akkakk (talk) 17:14, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
For Q17269 (TAR) all interlinks are correct, but I am in doubt about kg. wp and new. wp. @Jfblanc: Could you please look at the kg. wp article and confirm it? @Eukesh, सरोज कुमार ढकाल: Could you please confirm it for the new. wp?
For kg the link is ok, it is about the Autonomous Region. Regards --Jfblanc (talk) 19:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As I'm controlling the links of Q17252 I come across very many articles that I cannot confirm. Anybody any idea how to quickly solve this problem? Q.Zanden questions? 12:54, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
